Turk had many interests, and he enjoyed helping out others. But he had a huge soft spot on his heart for the little ones.
He always gave much of his time to play the drums with his band of friends for "Christmas is for Kids",
"The Angel Fund" and other charities and events.
He also helped and gave much to animal shelters, and rescue felines, of which he took in many.
One of his favorites was the Mansfield Animal Shelter.
He loved his "Bugsy" the cat... The man was a real zoophilist.
Turk was a forward thinker, always trying to make life easier for all of us, one of which was his pandemic mask.
Genius! :>)
And his sense of humor knew no bounds! You never had any idea what might be coming when Turk was around. He played hard, worked hard, and was witty, sharp, and smart.
Turk's Think Tank and Bait Shop is a forum that Turk championed. His words and his concept. He had a vision.
Turk wanted his many friends, and people on the world wide web, to visit, think, and hopefully spark conversation on issues around the world. Big and small, serious and not so serious, funny and not so funny.
Turk believed the more we communicate and share our thoughts, the better we would understand the issues, and each other.
This would enable us to be more effective in formulating solutions.
“Everything is easy once you know what you are doing”.
His idea was to inform and help people get the information that could be of use to them in today's fragmented world
His advocacy and memory will live on. He was a forward thinker and he will be sorely missed.
